Is this safe for my amp?

Right now im using a crappy mixer to bump my phono up to line level, but I know I could use my marantz 2220 receiver to take the phono level, then run the tape out into my tube amp, Im wondering if this presents any danger to my tube amp input?

You can use the Marantz's phono inputs for your TT and then feed the Tape Outputs to your tube amp, assuming that the Tube amp has its own input controls - which would be the only danger I see. Tape Outputs are fixed at 'line level', pretty much, but are not controlled by the Marantz volume contol.
