Was in the SA yesterday and came across a Chick Corea LP "Tones for Joans Bones". My jazz collection/knowledge is limited to say the least, it was in good condition and his name was familar. After initially passing I succummbed to the voice in my head that was saying "buy this LP" over and over again.....
........I'm so glad I did, this is one of the best things I've heard in ages, the music is amazing and the sound just leaps out of the speakers and fills the room (and I still havent cleaned it yet) Its not an OP, but an Atlantic reissue from 1976 (OP was in '68) as part of the That's Jazz series
best dollar I spent in a long time
I also got Brubeck "Gone with the Wind" and Mearle Haggart "Live at Muskogee.."
