Hello all,
Admittedly, I'm a bit of a novice to the Audiophile world. I've always dabbled in high-end "prosumer" type of audio, but now I have my first piece of true, fully analog equipment, and I'm pretty psyched.
I just inherited a Sony STR-6065 receiver, which I believe is from 1972. It works perfectly but has been in storage for years, literally.
I'd like any recommendations for cleaning and upkeep to keep it sounding wonderful for years down the road. It's pretty dusty and was curious of what solvent would be best to clean the exterior connectors. I haven't opened the chasis yet but can only imagine how much dust has collected over the years. Would canned air be suitable for cleaning the inside?
Thanks
