View Full Version : Will a Yamaha M-60 or M-70 Service Manual Work for an M-65

I have been unable to come across a SM for my newly acquired Yamaha M-65 amp in the pay or free sites. The SMs for the M-60 and the M-70s are readily available. Would anyone know if the manual for either can be used for the M-65 for the purpose of basic adjustments? The insides look identical to the M-60 pics.

Having read both, I think I might need some technical translation for them, if they are usable. The wording is kind of odd and unclear. I'm sure the person who wrote it and translated it knew what they meant, but I don't. That will be another thread, if I can use either of these manuals.

BTW, for the life of me, I thought there was a forum for manuals on AK, but I sure couldn't find it. Is it a sub-forum somewhere; or is it possible I am just blind or crazy or both?

I just ordered a CA-2010 SM from him.I've gotten SM's in the past from him and they are usually better than the originals.Yamaha manuals database...

The M-70 will deffently not work since it is a X-power amp, but the M-60 i beleve to be close. The adjustments will be different, since the M-65 is a bit more powerfull than the M-60. And watch out for small changes in parts, I tink all in all it is the same as with the M-80 vs. M-85.

Thanks, I got two PMs with offers for manuals which I'll get when time allows. I would rather be sure but I'll bet that the M-60 is identical.

HI KingBubba

I have the complete schematic of the Yamaha M-65 , not the SM.

If interested, send me your email... ;)
