Howdy all,

Has anyone here seen Waits live in the recent past? I have a chance to see him perform this summer up in Tulsa (less than a 2 hour drive), but tickets are expensive.

How are his live shows? Can he still hack it on stage? I'm just afraid I'll regret spending nearly $100 on a ticket. I'm on the fence about this. I really want to see the show, but I have never spent that much on a ticket to...well...anything. :scratch2:

I'd pay that or twice that, personally. HIs live tours are sporadic enough these days that if a fan missed a reasonable opportunity, I'd say shame on them.

I saw him in Denver 5 or so years ago. It was $80 or so and absolutley worth every penny. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen. It lasted about 2 hours also.

I'm thinking of going to the St. Louis show this time.
