I would like to finally take a moment to thank grumpy and his crew for a great job at AK fest. I had a wonderfull time,I met allot of very nice people that where helpfull in my quest to better my knowledge And I finally met Ak members it was nice to place the face to the AK user name.
I felt that the guest rooms where packed with some incredible audio systems,I got a very good idea of diffrent systems and how they sound ,people where friendly and willing to play my music,it was GREAT! Thanks to all those people that took the time to load all that equiptment and bring it to the fest.
I thought the rooms,hotel and the event where well planed and very nicely done.Can't wait for more.And I finally subscribed to Ak,been wanting to do so for a while .

I am also thankfull to Jolida for the 707A tube amp I had won. I am presently using it as my bedroom system on a set of ADS 710's and it sounds great. I couldn't believe I won it,I guess there is always a first.:thmbsp:

Hey AMSOILMAN GREG, had a nice time to. I finally got a chance to listen to Altec's 19 up close and personal with tubes.Nice!:thmbsp:What a diffrence between the pioneer SX 1250 and those dynaco's,Nice warm highs and a punchy bass. Thanks for the dinner happy moms day to your wife.

Mike is indeed a great guy. He brought me a set of speaker boxes from Powerman this trip that pushed the limits of his auto. I guess his karma caught up.

If he's not going to tell the story about the giveaway I will. It was one of the last 2 things to go (I got the last one :naughty:) and Mike was on his way out. When Ernie read the name blzatrl and said "this guy needs to buy a vowel", Mike said "that's me!" from the elevator. Pretty cool.
