Anybody besides me going to see them at The Great American Music Hall? They should be a very special shows.
A little background, this is the second time he has played there since the sixties. It was his father's favorite venue and Jorma went there with him a lot growing up. So this is like a special homecoming and the last time was magic, Jorma was noticeably moved to be playing there. I would expect no different this time and wouldn't miss it for anything. :)

I have seen Hot Tuna a few times and you can be assured of a great show.
I am curious as to how his father brought him to that venue a lot while growing up. Jorma and Jack are from DC- they are the pride of my high school. Jorma did not move to the Bay Area until around 1962 and that was for college.
Whatever...enjoy!

It was what Jorma said when he played there the last time and I was at the show is what I am going on.
I have seen Hot Tuna almost every year for decades. Always a no brainer to attend.
if you can get close to the board,
The s/b takes up most the front of the balcony with a VIP table on each side. It is a very old, small, vaudeville place. Thankfully they have put in a much better sound system. It used to be a pair of real cheesy little arrays that were real boomy.

Jorma is one musician I will never get tired of hearing. It has been a few years since I have seen him or Hot Tuna. I am near DC also, and he usually talks about his time here when playing.
You should have a great time at the show, enjoy it enough for all of us who can't be there.
