I'll be in Las Vegas later in the week and I WILL get me some In & Out, after a 2 year hiatus.

I remember In & Out from my traveling days.
Never did make it to Sonic Burger, though.
Worth all the hype? Or just the celebrities "slumming" and being "ghetto-hip"?
Love Pink's Hot Dogs as well, but really liked Okie-Dog's much better.

In and Out are great. Get the fries well done for extra crispiness.
If in Texas, you've got to check out Whataburger.
Sonic is OK, great o-rings.
White Castle is nice, but my wife hates them.
I eat out a lot.....

Boston doesn't fare so well. Burger King, McDonalds, if you're lucky you may find a Wendy's.
The BK and Micky D stuff makes me get sick, the Wendy's is palatable.
But no Sonic, no In & Out, no White Castle, no Crystal...
On a fortunate note, we've got lots of good private-owned joints.
Oh- Pollo Loco has come to our end of the universe. Got one up near Tewksbury, and the second is going in around Brockton, I think.

It's been a quarter-century now since I had an In-N-Out burger, fries and shake ... and I can still remember how they tasted. My favorite fast food, ever. One of the "highlights" of college days! I once saw them pouring cartons of commercial shake mix stuff into their machine, and then found a place that sold the same basic stuff, in the same cartons (pure vanilla, without the added stuff like Hershey's chocolate sauce for chocolate shakes), bought a whole carton and drank it all within an hour or so. Felt a bit sick afterwards, but man was it delicious going down!
I'll probably go to my grave without ever again touching In-N-Out food, but I do appreciate what you guys are talking about. It may be poison, but it sure tastes good!

We have In & out,Whataburger and Sonic. Of the three In & Out is my preferered burger. Lately though I've been chowing on Culvers Burgers and Custard. Just moved here from the midwest.

Tell you the truth: Never even heard of In & Out burgers till about 10 minutes ago. Never had a White castle. The "big three" (Wendy's, McEmetic and BK) make me physically ill and I haven't eaten at any of those dumps in at least 10 years. Hardee's isn't food; I don't know what it is. Whataburger used to be good but the last one of those I had was stiff, cold and nasty so they are off my list as well. Sonic is tolerable. The one I miss is in New Mexico: Lota-Burger. I don't think they are found any place but in NM. They sure don't have any out here in FL.

I enjoyed many an In-N-Out burger when I lived in SoCal. My favorite burger joint was a little place in La Crescenta called Burger Garden on Foothill Blvd a couple blocks East of Pennsylvania Ave.
