Got some good news yesterday in a memo from our Career Ladder department. Seems that there was some extra money to be had and so as a result I am getting an extra $550 (less taxes of course) in my last regular paycheck tomorrow to end our school year. I also got an extra $225 bonus check last week because our school got excellent overall ratings from the parents in a quality survey. Woohoo!
But keep it quiet. Shhhhhh.....don't tell the wife, OK?:D

Well, I have been wanting to purchase a VPI 16.5 RCM for a while so I can really clean my vinyl and after reading a lot of posts of what this machine can do it seems to be the way to go. Yeah, I know that I could probably build my own RCM for a lot less but I think I would rather go with a commercially made product instead.
So the question is what vendor would you suggest I go with? Anybody ever deal with Music Direct?

I've dealt with Music Direct, very good company. I had bought my machine from LPGear and had gotten a very fast delivery. Elusive Disc also sells them and they are also a good company to do business with.

If you are an educator, this bonus money was well-deserved!
