so I list my first item ever on agon  and within a couple of hours I have a couple of offers, not lowball but less than I'm looking for too. I figure I should let it run a week and if I get no better offers than consider lowering my expectations a bit - what's a polite way to tell someone "thanks for your interest, cough up more money or ask me again in 2 weeks"? Or on agon do you typically get all of your bites right away and nothing later?

anyone's general experience or opinions based on actual experience would be much appreciated.

thanks.

and if this is the wrong forum or a forbidden question delete away...

A couple of things I have had happen to me on Agon.

1> Low offers get a nice message saying something like "Thanks for the offer, but being so early after listing, I need to consider more offers."

2> If you get a offer and would like to accept it a couple days later, the person never responds back. I usually call it 'kicking the tires' and they either found the same for cheaper or really don't want it now.

3> Most offers I received in the earliest stages were pretty close to my asking price
