...when looking at this? (See link below.) I don't want people to think I'm entering premature senility...

One of the few RTRs I actually want MORE than the Revox B77, and that one looks particularly clean and nice. It has been fully serviced and includes a 1-year warranty! Price is beyond my current budget, though, and they don't want to ship outside of Europe, so I won't get this. On the bright side, my wife is much happier if I don't get it. :D

So (just for fun :D) what is your best drool cure?

Oh, and if any AKers DO get this, I hope they'll give us a report on it!

That looks like an awesome machine. Just check out that monster heatsink on the back!

My best drool cure - wait, no, remedy - is to add up how much I've spent on audio stuff over the past month or two. That's when I think to myself I really can't justify buying one more thing!

I saw a pair of B77's for very good price locally recently, but unfortunately both had gone...

The studio I used to work at had a couple of those decks. So did the recording school I went to. Good decks for sure IMHO.

It'd look gorgeous next to an EMT turntable.

That could be arranged...., I mean if you really want it.
