There are quite a number of vintage Klipsch speakers. What would be the order from good to better to best in the Klipsch line. I;ve seen Chorus, Heresy I II and III, La scala, Klipschorn, Forte, and may be others. What order would you put these speakers as far as desirability. Thanks.

The search function is your friend. :D Here's a thread (http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=112525&highlight=klipsch)that's been going for awhile. Opinions will differ of course. I have the little ones and big ones from 1978, Heresy's and Klipschorns, myself.

Thanks Heaps. I wouldn't mind giving a listen to some of these. My current mains are Yamaha NS-690s. They are very nice and detailed speakers. I would llove to compare them to some of the Klipsch line. Again, Thanks for the link.

You're in Austin. Soon you will be able to listen to a pair of Jubilees if you're patient (and interested).

Yep, here in Austin. Actually I work in Austin and hang my hat in Bastrop. Are you moving to Austin? I'd like to hear them. Thanks.

no, Travis has ordered a pair. I've not specifically asked him if I can open up his home to strangers but it seems like a fun idea!!

(and I am 99% sure he'd love to show them to others) You can find him at the Klipsch forum www.klipsch.com and his name is dwilawyer. He's going to have the prettiest factory pair of anyone to date when his are made. (there are about 15 factory pair owners and maybe another 4 or 6 clone owners)

His are going to be made out of some kind of fancy wood. When most of us others ordered ours, we were told we could have any color as long as it was black or unfinished birch. Now they've widened it a bit to include most of their stock wood finishes. I'd be more than happy to help you make this happen when he gets them. Otherwise, the closest pair (I'm now looking at list of owners) in Texas are: Arlington, Waco and Austin.

I might add that virtually all Jubilee owners that I'm aware of have expressed a willingness to share them with others. So, as brash as my invitation to you might be, it's not being done without SOME knowledge that he'd be open to it.

Way cool! I am certainly interested. Thanks.

Send me your email address with all your data in it and I'll forward it on to him. As of this moment, I don't know his expected date of arrival. Indeed, it's possible, though I doubt it, that they've already arrived.
