Is there a simple way to look up what turntables (by brand or model) are automatic, semi-automatic and manual? Is there information somewhere on the Internet with major brands/models, and how they fit in with regards to these three design principles?
Thanks. :thmbsp:

Well, if you are looking for a Technics turntable you can check out the vintage technics site. It features most of the tables the company produced and tells you which ones are manual, semi, and auto.

I agree AK is a great place for that kind of information, but this site is also fantastic and contains a lot of information about turntables:

If you'd want info on say Technics tables there are a lot of us myself included who have owned them or still do.
Do a google search for say a particular brand and you should find some info.
Plus there are a couple of websites besides AK that should give you info as well.
An example of some wonderful Technics tables would be the following.
Sl1600MKII automatic
SL1700MKII semi-automatic
SL1800MKII manual.
I have all 3 and there wonderful tables
