Or is it a scam? Some lonely person... Someone looking to collect e-mail addresses?

If this was legit, HOLY CRAP. You can see the speakers, the Yamaha looks like an M-800 to me. I send e-mails yesterday, no response. Either something is amiss or they went away pronto. No harm in posting now.

What a score?!?1?!

Killer deal if it's real.

One for the Hall Of Fame...

Problem: If I were to bring that stuff home, I doubt I could sell it. It would probably have a permanent home.

I second that! And my wife would kill me. :music:

I'm sure Homer J Simpson already picked it up and unloaded at his (ware)house by now :D

Most likely... It was 18 hours old when I saw it.

If he didn't, likely AnalogAddict did:D

Not me....I'm about bursting at the seams as it is....Looked like a killer deal though....

And Homer's been at work the last couple of days too, so unless he talked his lovely wife into driving all the way up there for him, I doubt he has them. Of course, he may have worked out a deal with someone to go get them....:scratch2:

I need to have a BIG housecleaning........:sigh:

"These speakers provide quality sound"

That's the understatement of the year. What a score(!), if it's for real.

I have not received a reply... Oh well. I suspect we will see these same pieces on Ebay soon, either from the original owner who got smart or the buyer who got lucky.

As I see it, that's $2000.00 worth of equipment there.

What was it?

I believe they were some massive hand-made Polks, SRS 1.2's. ???. I'm not sure, they are not very common and I could not find much information. I have never seen them before. Four tweeters, eight mids, and a 15 inch sub. Big dollar back in the day, no doubt.

The amp looked to be a Yamaha MX-800.

Nice.

Polk used that configuration for the SRS, SRS 1.2, and SRS 1.2TL. Eight woofers and a passive radiator. Maxed out at about $3K list before they were discontinued. They sound decent.

What all was in the ad? I missed it.

A pair of the Polks and a large 80's Yamaha amp, I think.
For $100.00.
