The Koetsu is about 50 minutes away with no traffic. In rush hour a good 2 hours one way.

Since it is so cheap and no real way of testing... makes me wonder and not worth the drive.

The Koetsu Black is worth about 300 without a stylus. Just the body for 'trade-in' based on my research over the past few months. I'm not a researcher though.

Retipping quotes from various sources I have found have ranged from 200-400 for retipping at soundsmith to 500-1k from van den hul. I would expect that Koetsu and VDH prices would line up pretty closely.
