any TV repair guys in our group???

A friend just gave me a Mitsubisi (sp) 55" hi def DLP TV that does not work. When I look online, I see that the problem this TV has is common to this model. However, I can't tell what they are talking about to be able to fix it. Any suggestions? Cheers.

Early TVs (B&W until about 1952, color until about 1965) had circular screen
picture tubes, so this forum is for all TV sets more modern than these
milestones.
