Damn this is a superb LP. Ordered about OJC's from acoustic sounds and this is the Gem of the bunch to me so far. Pressed on Prestige LP 7060 its on my recommended list for sure. Course if you dont dig Jazz then skip it and leave more for me :)

I love Gene Ammons. If you haven't heard "Boss Tenor", it's worth a listen. (BTW, his dad was Albert Ammons--one of the absolute finest boogie woogie piano players of the genre.)

Gene "Jug" Ammons, he's on my list of favorite Jazz artists! :yes:

I've got Boss Tenor and like it very much. I'll have to check out the one you mentioned.
