Picked up an album today. Bricklin. Still sealed. I start looking it up.. Looks like MAYBE $15 - 20 for a sealed (Can't find a sealed, but seeing VG+) However, if I were to have found a sealed CD, it would be worth $100, used CD's for 90....
:wtf:

It's like Jimmie Spheeris....Cd's are in the $80's used and over $100 new because there were only a few made....the LP's are like $10.....both of mine were free :D

True.. CD's may be rare.. but come on.. they are CD's.. does this mean they are more desirable by people who don't like good sound?

Simi, I doubt if most people think that LP's are better....we are a VERY small minority.......and a CD can sometimes sound actually pretty decent on a good setup (only head one, all McIntosh stuff)....

I doubt it's about 'quality', per se'.
IMHO, It's all about supply and demand. The supply of available CD's must be far less than the people who want it on CD. While the supply of LP's is/must be greater than the amount of people willing to pay high prices for the LP.
For example I've seen multiple copies of Gene Clarks' 'Two Sides To Every story' on vinyl, for never more than $15-25. But I've only ever seen it on CD once or twice, and that's after consciously looking for the CD for years. I bought the second one I saw on CD for $40 because I figured I might not ever see it again on CD.

wow.. I guess I[m gonna keep my eyes open for this Bricklin CD.. never heard them, but it was a sealed 80's LP that looked interesting for a buck.
