Anybody here pick up al green's new album yet? i did and i must say, he's still got it.

I saw Al Green at a festival last weekend, but only caught two songs. He can still entertain, for sure.

I've got it. His voice still sounds fine, but I thought the material was pretty weak.

I almost bought it. Not enough soul.

I got it the day it came out, and IMO it’s one of the best albums I’ve heard all year. :thmbsp:

the only song i found weak was the duet with connie ray(whatever her name is). the lyrics are boring and predictable. but the other 10 songs are great. especially "i'm wild about you", "you've got the love i need" and "all i need". definitely one of the best albums in quite a while imo.
