Did all the usual garage cleaning and plugging, still no sound from the left side. Headphone jack has both channels.
Easy fix or toss it?

Looks like a easy fix.Either a bad solder connection or loose/broken wire .

I have the DH - 110 manual that has some schematics in it. IF you think you might need it I could PDF a copy of it to you on Monday.

I had an internal connection work loose once on a 110.

...IMHO; I use one all the time.
Worth fixing.
My view is not colored by justifying something I bought. It was given to me; I placed it in a nice system out of curiosity and never took it out because it sounded so good. VERY synergistic mix with B&K EX442.

Check the board on the back that has the RCA jacks on it. If this was a kit-built version, odds are that there's a problem with the soldering. While you're in there, check _all_ other solder joints, too.
The other likely candidate would be the ribbon cable over to the RCA jack board.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
David
