Having recently seen the kappa 7.2's with the black diaphram, I am wondering if one could use the vifas' diaphram as a direct drop in for the infinity polydome. Would this work? I know that the vifa driver is an 8ohm impedence, would just swapping the diaphram out keep the infinity polydome at a 4ohm impedence? Thank you, Brian.

Orange County Speaker Works sells those black Polydomes as a direct replacement for the original white-domed mids. IIRC, I think they fit the factory cut-out with no modifications.

see my reply in the other Kappa thread, the domes diaphrams can be swapped.
