Hello all, I have a Denon dr-m30hx, and it's a nice deck, but it plays at almost twice the speed it is suppost to.:thumbsdn: I assumed it was probably an easy fix that just needed adjusting. Anyway, let me know if you can offer any advice on this problem.:scratch2: Thanks

The first thing I would check is to see if the pinch rollers are making good solid contact with the capstans.

The supply pinch roller should have less tension than the take up and the take up should require a good deal of force with a cleaning swab to stop it if it is working correctly.

If they are not making good contact, you will have to clean/resusitate the grease on the pivots and exercise them to get them moving smoothly.
