same seller, if you've followed my SX 580 and yamaha amp threads. this one's not too pretty, those are some ugly stickers on the faceplate. wants $100 for it, think that's a bit high for this. but that "scope" is cool. is that really an oscilloscope like you would find on a Marantz 2500?

It really is a cool receiver, but demand for Quad units is very low. If it is working well without issues, I'd consider it a decent deal at $ 100. Just make sure you have a use for it.. I have a couple cool Quads taking up space..

It's not actually a scope, it's a meter, with light beams that move to indicate the VU... very cool! I think $100 is a bit much. I try to talk everything down, but I would pay $80 for that. Just complain a lot about the stickers, even though they look easy to get off, and the rest of the unit looks to be in great shape.
