Hey again,
After figuring out that my new TT has a Stanton 681 mounted, but needs a new stylus, (which costs $70), I wanted to know if there might be a better cartridge for the Philips series of tables.
I have a well-balanced setup for my stereo right now, using a restored HH Scott LK-48 running it though a first generation pair of Paradigm Studio/20's. The sound is smooth, but punchy enough.
What I would like is a cartridge that gives me enough detail without taking the emotion out of the music. I think that the Stanton 681 might still be a good bet to stick with, but didn't fully know my options with this table. Thanks for the help!
