View Full Version : Pioneer PLC-590 persons0 07-29-2008, 10:41 PM Where can I get one and what do they go for? After seeing a picture of Onepixel's posted on the forum and I want one! Can they be had for under $1000? Completed auction listings show nothing but there is one in Europe for a BIN of $2399 euros (ouch!). I am hoping they aren't that expensive. Not sure how much the matching Pioneer PA-5000 tonearm is going for. 2399 Euros is about $3729 US, that's a big chunk of crazy change. Maybe I'll sell mine... naw. If so $900 doesn't seem bad for one mint with a box. I was planning on putting on a different arm anyways. How often do they come up on eBay? Seems to be a fairly rare piece. Seems to be a fairly rare piece. I hope I can find one. you never know what you can find outside of ebay. Actually, the last PLC-590I saw was sold on audiogon some months back. It wasn't a "badged" PLC-590 but it actually had the Pioneer Series 20 badge on it. They are the exact same turntable. Just keep on actively searching thrifts, garage sales, local paper classifieds and other venues.
