Sometimes I'll buy a bunch of albums and not get around to going through them for a few weeks (or months, or sometimes ever :no:). That was the case today as I finally got a chance to look at some of the great jazz albums I picked up at a garage sale about a month ago. Took the record out of this Count Basie and Oscar Peterson lp and discovered an autographed sleeve. Compared it to some samples I found online and it looks like it could be legit. It says, "sincere regards, Oscar Peterson". Gotta check inside those garage sale and thrift store finds. :yes:

Sweet!! and those Pablo records are great recordings - great sonics, quiet vinyl, fabulous talent.

I've found several different things inside record jackets. So far my favorite is an interm report for a freshman girl from 1984 saying she is has low test scores and needs to complete her English homework more consistently.

It's from Robinson High in Fairfax, Virginia if there are any alumni out there.
