I was just listening to a version of Ennio Morricone's "Il Triello." It's the song played during the climatic three way show down at the end of the "The Good, the Bad and The Ugly." I'm trying to find a version exactly like the movie's. I can't find one that has the pocket watch chime at the end like the movie had (same chime from the climax of "For a Few Dollars More'').

Just hearing that song makes my pulse go up. I think that's the best climatic scene from any western and damn near any movie. It's definitely a case where the music makes it unforgettable.

The soundtrack LP with that score was released on United Artists Records back in the day. Very fine Stereo recording. A nice original USA pressing isn't too much money. $12-15 buys you a nice, NM copy. Just carefully check yours before you buy. UA pressings in the day had a tendency to be off-centered on occasion. If ye can't inspect it in the shop, buy with a return guarantee if it's not up to standard.

i just got that same one today for a buck at an antique shop up the street. awesome condition.

I got a new double Italian, Dagored Red 130-1. I had to pay some pretty penny, I think, about $20+ for this one. :scratch2:
I don't know why I paid so much other then I just felt like it and I like this music.
