Interested in Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry and others, Wondering about quality of recordings,CD anyone heard these?

I have the Chuck on cd. Couldn't be happier with it.

I have the Chuck,the Bo,and the Muddy Waters sets.I love them all.Great booklets come with them,and since I think they used original master tapes,some songs sound different than we remember on cd or on the radio.The master version of Sweet Little Sixteen is at a different pitch than the one we all remember.You cant go wrong with any of them.

I have the Muddy Waters, Do Diddley and Willie Dixon Chess Boxes and they are all great. The sound quality is great on all of them. The Willie Dixon is my favorite because of the wide variety of singers and musicians in this box set. The Bo Diddley box is a very fun listen, this guy was rockin hard way back in 1955. :yes:

I did not know there was a Chuck Berry Chess Box, there's another one for my want list.

Whoops,I forgot about my Willie Dixon set!I bought the Bo and Muddy sets after hearing the Dixon set.
