Are these the ones Budman is selling?

H700 is just an early Heresy, same components. It's Klipsch's was of denoting the change from the 1000 Hz horn to the exponential 700 that we see today. The cabinet does have a thinner 1/2" plywood back but otherwise should be the same K22, K55, K77 components as other Heresies. Any H that works and it's totally horrible looking is worth $300 per pair generally.

I haven't had a chance to directly compare to other ModelH/Heresys but my 'new' H1000s are surprising me...:thmbsp:

On my Yamaha C-4/M-4, not shouty, actually *smoother than most horn speakers I've heard. Jazz detail and rock/blues dynamics to burn. Haven't upgraded the caps yet either! Or tried vinyl!

Is the 700 vs. 1000 crossover change because the bass cab option didn't sell, or they sound better that way? Dispersion pattern would change too. Does the exponential 700 horn sound squawkier than the older one I have?

Was wondering what the K-22 would sound like in my Wharfedale W60s with its sand-filled back rather than thin 0.5 plywood...

*in my rather dead couch-filled, carpeted room...
