THE REPLACEMENT TWEETERS ARE VERY EASY TO REPLACE BY REMOVING 2 SCREWS AND UNPLUGGING THE SPEAKER WIRES (THE FACTORY DOES NOT SOLDERED THEM ON). VERY SIMPLE 5 MINUTE REPAIR WITH A SCREWDRIVER.

THE REPLACEMENT TWEETERS ARE AVAILABLE FROM RADIO SHACK. YOU MUST GIVE THEM THE CATALOG NUMBER (ON THE BOX OR BACK OF THE SPEAKER), NOT THE PRO LX 5 MODEL NUMBER. SEE PIC'S FOR NUMBER.

I've got a pair of those that until recently, I used for rear surrounds. Very nice highs, I must admit.
