Lotta good parts in there, not sure how "hifi" they'd be. Those obround styrofoam woofers are a very cool novelty, but not "all that" where sound/performance is concerned.

They were very pricey when new.

I believe the correct model number is R-60B, originally designed to mate with the EX-42 Electone keyboard/organ/synthesizer.

AFAIK Yamaha never made pro or organ gear with alnico magnets, seller is likely mistaken and all drivers are ferrite mags.

Did you notice the flat panel drivers in the bottom? (2-24"x30"subwoofers with 4" voice coils)

Would be interesting to hear them...
