I ordered a tube from someone on e-bay on July 27th. It has not arrived and I have sent two e-mails to the seller over the past two days to see what the deal is. There has been no response. What would you do?

Go into my ebay and report the item as not received. If you payed with paypal then you may get your money back. If not, then you may be up shit creek if he doesn't respond

Email direct and via Eprey. Let him know you are sending both. Make sure you CC yourself both places. Give him 5 days to respond.

How did you pay? PP? If so, after 5 days, get it refunded. If by MO inform him he will be charged with mail fraud and contact the postmaster.

I lost $17 to a dishonest seller via money order for a record player. I threatened the seller with legal action if he did not refund the money or send the item. After consulting with the Post Office, I was pretty much told that there was nothing I could do. All greedbay did was send some computer generated form letter telling me that they were sorry; but, there was nothing they could do.

When I still used paypal, they refunded my money from another seller that didn't want to turn loose of the goods. Unless the rules have changed, I believe you have only 30 days to open a paypal dispute.

It's only been two weeks; I wouldn't worry. When I buy on ebay I assume at least a week or two just for lazy or incompetent sellers. I only file with paypal after a month, unless something else suspicious comes up.

But anyway, the guy hasn't responded, but it's only been two days. The seller could be out of town or something. Unless the negative feedback is piling up I wouldn't worry.

For an online transaction 2 days is an eternity. Filing a paypal dispute is your best course of action, you could also dispute the charge on your credit card.
