Flipping thru the vinyl tonight and pulled out Supertramp's Crisis? What Crisis? wow forgot how good this album is! I then put on the Jan Akkerman album by the same name, and was once again blown away! This guy can really play! his solo stuff far outshines nost of the focus stuff IMHO. It is great to have so many albums that you forget how good some of them are! always something old to get reaquainted with.

Jim

I just got some new speakers and have been breaking out the old stuff myself.
Steve Miller..Living in the 21st century.
Los Lobos..Kikko
Roxy Music..Flesh and Blood, to name a few.
As far as Supertramp goes, Crisis and Crime of the Century are the only 2 I like.

I'm glad Supertramp was mentioned. It just got me thinking how I haven't heard the Breakfast In America LP in years! I played it do death way back when.

I got so much stuff to listen to I haven't ever listened to, that I can't even listen to the stuff that I haven't listened to in a long time...

Same here! I first saw that when I was ten or so and was insanely jealous of the person who owned it. I already had the sickness, even then...

Thinking of that time in my life has made me put on Joe Cocker- Mad Dogs and Englishmen and Kiss- Rock and Roll Over. Two I haven't listened to for quite a long while indeed. Yeah!

Abby Road...

First time I listened to the copy I have, first time I've heard the album as a whole in more than 20 years

That's been in recent rotation after years of sitting. It's as good as you remember it- maybe better.

Was listening to Journey the other nite for the first time in like 15-20 years. Turns out I really enjoyed it, didn't expect that. I guess it is good stuff after all. :)
