Found a source that will sell me 25 feet but they were likely closed yesterday so I dropped them an email.

Because the power cords that came with the chairlifts are black, even though they do have right angle plugs. I have already used two standard PC cords but the next two run at 12 feet and 10 feet in length and no one makes a PC cord that long.

How about cutting and splicing several together? May not be real pretty but it should do the trick.

Already did that with one simply because it had a right angle IEC connector on one end and the particular situation needed it. I expect I will have an answer to my email tomorrow and can get the cable that I want. I already know where I can get right angle 3 prong AC plugs. The type of cable is all over the place if you want 250 feet of it. It is SJ or SJT type and Lowes and Home Depot will sell you all you want as long as you like black. They will also sell right angle plugs if you like black or yellow. I think their chief buyers have all their taste in their mouths.

The black covering sounds better. All the Sun computers at work come with black power cords, and they sound much better than tube computers with grey power cords.

I don't particularly care what it sounds like but black cords look like hell decorating the staircase on a permanent basis.
