Been raining here all day nothing to do but hang with friends, drink handcrafted brews and listen to tunes. I noticed the kappa 9's were looking a little dull so I looked in a closet and found a product my grandmother once used on her furniture. Its called Wilbert dri finish Lemon Oil. I used a paintbrush on one , my buddy did the other. This worked great to get the oil into the cracks. After letting it sit on a while I wiped them down with a soft cloth. This stuff was super slick and kind of thick but boy do these things shine now....They even smell great. I love this stuff so much I'm thinking of trying it on the wife. Maybe there is a way to get her to like the infinities after all. FYI its a great product if you can find it...... I don't know if they still even make it but I hope so its almost gone. What have you other infinity lovers used?

It dries... but lasts for months.. Home Depot caries it. I'm probably the biggest proponent of the stuff here.. I use it on all the wood in the house.. Bee's wax and other good things in it for your wood.

I've had quite a few pieces that were VERY dry, and amazing how it makes wood just jump back to life..

I use Milsek, but it realy doesn't matter, because the type of finish of these Kappas will not allow any penetration. My Klipsch Forte' IIs have a more porous finish, and so do my Bose 901 Vs and the oil just seems to soak in.

Think she'll let you and your buddy paint brush lemon oil all over her? :D

I was just thinking of a way to get her to like the monoliths a little better. You Never Know until you try!!

Jame's comments sold me on trying it last a few months ago....Howard's Feed - N - Wax is an awesome product and the only thing I now use on lustering up my veneer. One application lasts a long, long, long time. :thmbsp:

Went there ....Got some.....Tried it out......Very similar to wilburs lemon oil in appearance when on the wood. I have two sets of 9's . Looks a little different in the bottle. Wilburs lemon oil just looks like oil and Howards looks like lumpy oil.

My wife likes the 8 Kappa. She also likes the Forte', but she hates the 901s. Too retro looking, I guess. Personally, I think the 8 Kappa looks the best.

The lumpy in the Howard's is the bee's wax..
