Hey guys, anybody have any experience with turntabledepot.com????
I see they make replacement dust covers....I'd like to order a couple, but I'll not get to see them when they show up so I'm a little afraid to do so .....
Thanks all...:thmbsp:

I have only seen a few pictures of these. Of coarse some small details are not part of the deal like the little logos on top or perhaps the small corner rubber dot feet. The flip side being a near perfect swirl free clear dust cover.
I would think that these have found homes with members in fair numbers.

I looked into a replacement for my Technics SL-D5 dustcover through them. A very nice reproduction and probably looks stunning, but I passed only because I found an old original.....plus I wanted the logo on top, and the hinges - which I think were extra on my particular model.
Let us know if you get one. I emailed them back and forth a few times with questions, and thought they were very fair and nice.

Just look at AK´s index page at the bottom.
They´re one of AK sponsors. There was a thread recently here about them.

I emailed them about a dustcover and never got a response.

These are great covers. Crystal clear and fit perfectly. I bought one for my Maratantz 6300. Looked like a museam piece under glass. True you don't get the logo on top or the rubber bumpers (if the original had them). As for the rubber bumpers, just put a small dab of clear silicone on each front corner. Works great and nearly invisable. It may be possible to get some logos off using some heat and put them on the new cover. Tom Hampton is the owner and was very responsive to my inquiries and even called me about my concerns. They are extremely busy shipping dust covers all over the world. I would email him again. Great guy to deal with.
Highly recommended!

Wow, I just noted that. I'm partialy to blame. He's local to me, I had a long talk with him a couple of months back, and recommended he place an ad here!
I want him to do one for my Thorens TD-160, but I never had the original. He prefers to have the table & cover to work from. Some one else had asked about this model in a thread a while back, I'll search for it and bump it. If anyone else has a TD-160 with a bad cover, if you want, you could just send the cover, and I can drop him my table, so we can both get one, let me know.
