This just went up on my local CL this morning. Can anyone ID the model?

Is that Pioneer? Does it maybe say "Scott" on it? It's too blurry, but it doesn't look like Pioneer, to me anyways (which is to say, it could be).

Doesn't look like Pioneer, 100wpc or quad for that matter.

Looks like a Sony STR 2800 to me as well. I had one of those. Nice little unit but it was only 20 watts per channel I believe.

YOu guys rock. I have several Pioneer recievers, and I didn't think it looked Pioneer either. At 20WPC I'll pass

It was the bottom of the line in its day for the US Sony stuff. Nice little receiver for a dorm room.....

This Sony is actually well built. I sold it to a friend of mine who has been using it in his garage. Still kicking.
