Hey man, don't laugh at me when I ask these lame questions. I have no idea about the ins and outs of tube amps...but I'm gonna find out!!! Anyway, I was brought up in an RCA jack household. What do you call the plugs on the SP 3? Can I buy them at Radio Shack or do I have to ask a Chinese merchant to send 'em over?
Second...do the smaller tubes really need those metal "condoms" covering them? Wouldn't they cause the tubes to get hotter? Are they just for protection or do they have some real use?
Thanks ya'll
Tony

From pics in online reviews, it looks like RCA jacks for the inputs and binding posts for speaker connections - nothing unusual that I can see. The tube covers are to prevent electrical interference, I believe.
