hardy har har :lmao:

pretty sure anyway :D

I've always wanted to hear a set of these . . . apparently they're VERY finicky with amplifier power, and room size / placement. . .

They're outstanding and astounding.

And if cheap enough, a wonderful pile of toys to mix and match. Combined you can have a literal "wall of sound".

I heard a set of Tympani IV's long time ago on a hifi show, driven by a couple of Accuphase M-1000 mono amps, Accuphase preamp and an Oracle Delphi - Air Tangent arm - Ortofon ??? cartridge. Normally I don't get impressed that easy, but that was - and still is - the best system I've ever heard. So about two years ago a set of Tympani IV's appeared on the market, and I was very interested. They were pretty affordable (everything's relative ;) ) so I almost bought them. Untill I realised there would be no more room for me in the listening space. I did the reasonable thing and didn't buy them - and every now and then I still regret that.

There's a guy near me who has some tympani speakers wanting to get something new. PM me for his phone #. He's on eastern LI, NY.
