I think these are neat. Doesn't say if the stands are available as well.
Not mine etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

I agree with you Ed.
As a whole package with the stands and all...they do look really cool.
I have no idea how they sound though.

That's not mine, but it used to be. So I hope I'm not breaking any rules by describing it, as it was in my possesion at one time (and I stand to make no money by describing it, as I traded it and some other stuff for an amp already...).
It was dead when I found it at a thrift store and I didn't need it so I gave it to my friend who makes a living (partially) by fixing and selling vintage stereo equipment. Physically it's in stunning condition...veneer and TT cover looked great, speaker grills looked good. I hear it's functioning now but I've not heard it since he fixed it (had a blown cap when I found it, no sound, nothing). The stands aren't with it (though I looked for them at the thrift store). If they had been there, I might have tried to fix it myself. I'm not sure of the condition beyond that, though I heard the FM over the phone, if that counts! I've heard the receivers in these are great, and I was going to use it as an office system but picked up a little tube unit instead. The speakers are the originals, about the size of KLH 17s. I believe they had a bad crossover in at least one, but it was fixed by a recap.
Cheers!
