Magnepan MMG's

I have an opportunity to buy some Magnaplan MMG's for $250.00.

Are they worth it? They are in used but good condition.

I'd jump on those! The MMG's are usually closer to $400 used. Even the older ones should have plenty of life in them. If there is any delam issue, that can be fixed for little $ and effort. The crossover upgrades are well worth considering, then there's the hardwood frame mod..The first thing they'll need is solid,clean power. Once you go planar, it's hard to go back to boxes!

Very good price. The only thing you have to worry about is liking them too much and feeling the need to get the larger Maggies.:D
I love my Maggies and wouldn't be without them.
