Used to have the "Bustin' Out" and "Two Lane Highway" albums. Sadly, all I have now is "Amie" on a 45.

I went through a huge PPL phase back in the day. Another band I haven't played much of in recent years. I'm going to have to dig out and listen to some of their stuff again soon. I think that I am ready again :D

they've only had two hits that got much airplay around here. "amie", of course, and "let me love you tonight" from the firin' up album. my favorites are their self-titled, just fly, if the shoe fits, bustin' out, and two lane highway. firin' up is not bad, dance has a few good ones on it. something in the night and can't hold back kinda suck. they have tons of songs that should have been hits imho. i've never understood why they weren't more popular. anybody got any i don't have?

Sure I'll admit to being a fan... been years since I have really spent much
time listening to them, but I was always respectful of their abilities.

Saw them live years ago... great act, imho. Nice harmonies.

For those near Bristol, Va./ Tn. PPL is playing here this weekend. Details can be found by Googleing Rhythm and Roots Reunion.

(I have no connection with PPL or R & R R.)
