I've been spending a lot of time studying in the basement and with the setup that's down here.
It was my mom's first stereo that she bought herself some time again, when it was new, and I must say, it sounds great!
PL-E5 Linear tracking TT
A-E5 Amplifier (http://www.jeff-young-design.com/JVC/amps-tuners/A-E5.jpg)
T-E5 Tuner (http://www.jeff-young-design.com/JVC/amps-tuners/T-E5.jpg)
D-E5 Tape deck
I think the TT uses P-type carts (?).
The whole shebang came with its own shelving that is like a square 'C' shape from the side-- in that the tape deck, tuner and amp sit inside the 'C' while TT sits on top of the 'C.' The whole thing has a pretty small footprint, too, considering what's there.
I'll try to snap a few photos tomorrow.
What do think of this gear that my mom bought? ;) She's upset that she can't find another set like it for the office.
Philip.
