Since I started looking, I have found about 200,000 different shure cartridges.
Well, almost.

The latest discovery is a Shure M74cs...curious where it stands in the cartridge pecking order. It would appear to be one of the more obscure
Shure efforts since 'The Google' turns up little information.

However, I'm sure you guys know the details on this thing...you haven't failed me yet! Pretty impressive group..

Thanks

This was in the M75 family and has a .7mil conical stylus. So this can be upgraded with an M75ED type 2 stylus.

Somehow, I knew you would know. I've discovered that finding the genuine
Shure n75ed is a task, however. There is a company that has them available at $29.95but they require a minimum $50 order...if anyone else wants one let me know and I'll get two and split the cost...

Hey! I realize this is a pretty old post, but this cart just ran into me and I was wondering what either of your opinions are of this cart? I don't have a stylus for it so basically I'm wondering if it's worth investing in one?

If you put an N75ED or N75HE stylus in it, it's a very good cartridge.
