Hey all, what's up. I'm getting ready to buy some music by Everlast, due to the fact that I liked what they did on the Saving Grace soundtrack. I notice in that video he plays a flat top guitar, but Wikipedia calls him a rapper???? Can anyone recomend a good CD of his (more toward the gritty acoustic stuff than the rapping)? I also wonder if he has any vinyl out?:scratch2: Thanks, Jay

Wish I could help Jay. I'm not familiar with that band although the name sounds familiar.
Cheers

I think Wikipedia or yourself may have Everlast confused with Everclear? Everclear is/was a rock band, their early stuff was pretty gritty but they moved to more of a California pop-ish rock later, Everlast is one of the guys from House of Pain (Jump Around!) plus other musicians and his most famous song and CD is Whitey Ford Sings the Blues which is pretty good 'musical' rap with real instruments and backing musicians, I normally don't like rap but it's a good album.

Yes, Everlast is the one I'm looking for. I went to the stinkin Walmart because of course the record store closed down when Walmart came to town, but they didn't have anything. The store computor said they had two different albums, but they were MIA. :thumbsdn: I hate Walmart.:thumbsdn:

I remember him. He had that hit with Santana, Put Your Lights On.
Cool. For a while there, I thought you were looking for some boxing gear.:smoke:

Sweet, but I doubt if he'll get an invite to the Opry. Ol' Johny did a hell of a cover of "Rusty Cage" so I guess it's all good. I ordered his latest CD from Amazon today, so we'll see.:smoke:
