Yep Rush.
Although K-Sh*t 95 (biggest rock station in St. Louis) has been a supporter of them for many years and even (gasp!) plays their longer songs and more obscure ones. They used to come to the concerts and hand out bumper stickers that had a K-She logo incorporated into the cover art from the lastest Rush album. I had one on my car for a long time from one of the Test For Echo shows that had K-She's famous pig head as the head of the Inukashuk on the Test For Echo cover, it was hilarious!

Not good either. :D
They play mostly the same old recycled crap over and over, same songs from the same bands for the past 30 years. Not much in the way of "non hit" hits (those great underplayed or totally ignored songs that while not "hits" are as good or better than those considered hits and just as radio friendly). I don't need to hear "Love In An Elevator", "One Burboun, One Scotch, One Beer", "Money Talks", "Crazy Train", "I Can't Drive 55"...ad infinitum, ad nauseam. Those songs (imho) were old after about 3 listens...and they're on K-Sh*t every damn day. Mix it up a little!
And then there's the way they only start playing a lot of material from any band when they're coming to St. Louis and then after they're gone that's it! Back to normal rotation. K-Kiss-Up
Oh, and I've seen Katie Cruise in real life and besides not being nearly hot enough to be so full of herself, she's a bitch. (No, this isn't some sour grapes "I wanted to talk to her and she ignored me" thing: I don't give a crap about meeting ANY celeb/band member--not even a member of Rush, it would just be awkard and stupid to me, strangers pretending to be happy to meet one another...huh?--much less a dj of a crappy station; my girlfriend was actually the one who went up to her to try to get a free t-shirt at a club we were at and she just ignored her and then waved her away because I guess she was done doing the hard job of reaching into a box and giving people t-shirts and had to keep talking to the owners of the dive (Pop's). Bizzare. I don't know why my girlfriend wanted a t-shirt of a bad station anyway, I could of used it as a paint rag I guess. I made sure to keep my distance by the bar throughout all of this).
It's not really them, I'm not a radio guy, never was. I'll listen to jazz and classical on the radio, but that's it. And that's only because I don't have a sufficient jazz or classical collection yet. I just like to listen to the exact stuff I want to listen to when I want to, commerical and compression free. :music:
Anyway, all jmho, like whatever you want! :thmbsp:
Sorry to hijack the thread, ignore and continue!
