That was cool. I'm hangin in the cave tonight, I have Larry Carlton's "Sapphire Blue" running through the Cambridge Audio | Bottlehead FP3 | Redboy Special Maggie | Cornwall rig just surfing the net and about ready to hit the rack.

I've listened to this CD in my home office setup, more as background music while I work, etc.

Track 8 started up... basically a electric guitar/blues harp duel and the opening lick just stopped me dead. The rest of the tune stood up as well. I replayed the track 3 times with my jaw on the floor.

I love it when that happens.

the azur 540c v2 is a nice CDP, have one my self and it always shows me something I haven't heard before.

Sapphire Blue is an excellent album. I haven't listened to it in over a year now. I'm gonna grab it off the shelf this morning on the way to work.
