I am glad to be a new member of this community. I recently picked up a pair of Sansui S-520U 3 way speakers and a Sansui S-X1070 reciever. I bought the lot for $40.00. The reciever is 100 percent functional and sounds really good hooked up to the speakers. If anyone is familiar with the reciever I would like to know since the receiver is rated from 4 ohms up to 16 ohms with a flip of a switch (and the right speakers) does this affect the wattage it is rated at? The amp also seems to be cooled via a heat pipe, is this correct?

Hope you're still around. Am not familiar (never heard of) with the models you've listed and am guessing that these are the 'newer' models that folks here don't collect.
