Last night the wifey and myself went to see Concrete Blonde in Denver. It was friggin' awesome!! My hearing is just now starting to get back to normal :D .

If any of you get a chance to see them I highly recommend it. Johnette Napolitano has an absolutely stunning and powerful voice. Even as loud as the music was, we had no problem hearing her. They closed the show with an awesome version of "Joey".

BTW, they have a new album that releases the end of June called "Mojave"

Crank that bad-boy 5590 to 2 o'clock and you'll have some volume right there at home :D
I could only get it to 11 o'clock and the near-field speakers would have me blasted back to the wall.
Back in college daze, a friend called me "Mr. 2 o'clock"-- that'll tell you how I used to listen to music (through the old CS-88A's and later added a pair of CS-99A's).

Oh believe me Bully, I have tried to get it to 2 o'clock but always fall short at about 11 ;) . Man, that receiver can really crank.
