Ok, I have a Technics SL-BD35 Turntable I got from my mom when she gave me her Kenwood system. I looked on google and everywhere else and I can't find any info on it. So, can anybody tell me any info on it? What type of belt it need because the one it had on it fell apart? Any feedback or info is welcomed.
Also, does anyone have a Manual for it?
Thanks

Well the model number suggest a belt drive? PM Hakaplan and see if he has run across this one?

Also, drop by TurnTableNeedles.com to see if they have a belt listed for that table?

No need to, I'm here. :D

It's like an SL-BD33, but a changer, meaning that if it has the long spindle, you can stack records. The closest manual over at vinylengine is for the SL-BD22D, which is the semi-auto version but identical in all other respects. The information in that manual will be sufficient to set up the turntable. It will show how to install the belt. And beyond that there's really not much to it. The cartridge just plugs into the tonearm and is secured by a screw. There is nothing to adjust. The tracking force and anti-skate were set at the factory at 1.25g because that's what all p-mount cartridges require.

For the belt, this place is reliable and inexpensive:

Actually there is one more thing. Make sure it has the ground wire which plugs into a jack in the back of the tt and connects to the ground screw of your amp/receiver.

Search on ebay for AT-92ECD (spelled exactly that way) and you'll find dealers selling it for $25 shipped. It's a decent cartridge at a great price. It comes with the needle and the screw.

I don't know if you know, but what year is this turntable? What do you mean I can stack the records? How is it a changer and what does that mean? See, I don't know much about this stuff because I am new to vinyl and vintage solid state.
Thanks

As Hak said, if the TT came with a long (tall) version of the center spindle, then you can stack one to 5~6 records and it will drop them one at a time and play them one at a time. I suspect the long center spindle is in a clip or a groove along the edge or maybe underneath the unit. If it only has the short one (sticks up in the middle of the platter about 1/2 inch) it will only play one record before you have to put on another.

That line of Technics tables was introduced in 1986 or so, and some models stayed in production through the 1990s as Technics stopped introducing new models. I've got an SL-BD22K (K for black) in the closet that will probably become my daughter's first turntable.
